ANNUAL NOTICES FOR PARENTS 

This message contains important information about two annual notices that are required for parent notification prior to the start of the school year.

1) Academic Standards:  Each year the school board approves and adopts the academic standards for the 2019-20 school year in the core areas of English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies as required by section 118.30(1g) (a). The annual notice required by section 120.12(13) (b) of state statutes can be found by clicking on this  Parent Letter link.  

2) Free and Reduce Lunch Eligibility:  The district's process for children unable to pay the full price of meals served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program is available now for the coming school year. Each school office, and the district office, has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.  Application forms are part of the registration process, and are also available on the district website (Families/(school)/Food Service). To apply for free or reduced price meals, households must fill out the application and return it to the school (unless notified at the start of the school year that children are eligible through direct certification). Additional copies are available at the office in each school.
